Terms and Conditions.
We supply a UK vat invoice with all orders.
When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an email to confirm that we have received your order.
Orders may be placed by telephone on 0121 552 8400 or through our secure online shopping cart.
From the time you place an order with us to the time you receive your order we will keep you up to date on the progress of your order by email or telephone.
Delivery Information -
UK Mainland delivery on all orders under £50.00 is charged at £6.95.
UK Mainland delivery on all orders over £50.00 is FREE OF CHARGE.
Due to charges levied by our delivery agent DPD, the following postal codes are classed as Scottish Highlands & UK Offshore and have additional charges:
AB30-38, AB44-56, FK17-99, G83, IV1-28- IV30-32, IV33-39, IV40-51, IV52-54, IV55-56, IV63, KW1-14, KW15-17, KA27-28, PA20, PA21-23, PA30, PA32-34, PA34-40, PH18-26, PA41-49, PA60-78, PH30, PH31-41, PH42-44, PH49-50, HS1-9, ZE1-3, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man & Scilly Islands.
Delivery to any of the above postal codes is charged at £15.00 (2 day service).
All delivery prices quoted are excluding vat.
In most cases order's for in-stock items placed before 1.00pm will be dispatched the same working day, you can then expect to receive your order the next working day. If you place your order on a Friday after 1.00pm it will be delivered the following Tuesday. This applies to UK Mainland deliveries only.
Once your order has been dispatched we will email you a consignment tracking number, you will then be able to track your order online by visiting the DPD website (www.dpd.co.uk). If you also provide a valid email address or mobile phone number then DPD will contact you in advance by email or text advising you of the parcel delivery date and a 1hr time slot for delivery.
Timed DPD delivery services before 10.30 & 12.00 (Monday - Saturday UK MAINLAND ONLY) are also available on request by calling our sales team on 0121 552 8400 (a surcharge will apply for this service).
Staplers & Nailers only sells and delivers to UK based customers.
Cancellations & Returns -
You may cancel your order by giving us notice of cancellation prior to the goods being dispatched from our warehouse.
If you are unhappy with the goods you have purchased you may return them for a refund within 30 days. The goods are to be returned at your own expense. Please use a signed for delivery service. Any item(s) you return must be in new, unused condition with all the original packaging. We do not accept any item with indication that it was used. In such cases the refund will be refused.
Faulty & Damaged Goods -
If an item develops a fault within the first 6 months of ownership please contact a member of our sales team on 0121 552 8400. If we cannot rectify the fault by giving advice over the phone we will send you a parcel return label. You can then return the faulty item back free of charge. Once the faulty item has been inspected and confirmed as a warranty issue we will either repair or replace the item (at our discretion) and return it back to you.
If an item develops a fault after this period (6 months of ownership) then please return the faulty item with your proof of purchase to Tacwise (Warranty Returns), 1 Connections Business Park, Otford Road, Sevenoaks, Kent, TN14 5DF.
We have chosen our delivery partners carefully to ensure that we can offer the highest standard of service. We accept however, that there is always a slight chance something may get damaged in transit however hard we try to avoid this. If you do receive an item that is damaged, here is what you need to do.
If you notice there is damage to the item while the delivery is in progress you may refuse to take delivery of the item. Please sign the couriers manifest 'damaged on delivery' and inform us immediately. If you have taken delivery of the item and later found it to be damaged, please inform us immediately by email (including pictures of the damage if possible). It is imperative that you inform us as soon as possible as we have time constraints placed on us by our delivery partners with regards to filing damage claims. Any damage claims must be reported within 7 days from the date of delivery, unfortunately we are unable to accept any claims for damaged items after this period.
Warranty Information -
All Tacwise tools are supplied with a 12 month warranty.
Should your Tacwise tool become defective due to faulty materials or workmanship within 12 months from the date of purchase, Tacwise guarantee to replace all defective parts free of charge at our discretion, or replace the tool free of charge.
This warranty does not cover:
Tools that have received unauthorised changes or additions.
Defects caused by using accessories, components or spare parts other than approved/genuine Tacwise accessories or spare parts.
Component parts that are subject to natural wear and tear caused by use in accordance with operating instructions.
Defects to the tool caused by improper use, abnormal environment conditions or inappropriate operating conditions, non-compliance with our operating instructions or insufficient servicing or maintenance.
Proof of purchase must be produced with an original receipt or sales invoice.
